Melbourne songwriter Georgina Currie, who records as Yours, Georgina, has released new single “Holiday” today, 30 October 2026.
The indie-folk track previews her debut album Destination Fever, due on Friday 27 November. Recorded on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country at Melbourne’s Rolling Stock Studios, the song was developed with engineer Andrew Robinson, whose credits include The Teskey Brothers and Midnight Oil.
“Holiday” explores the insecurity and anxiety that can accompany an intense relationship, asking whether something thrilling and all-consuming is built to last. Currie describes a song that grew gradually through repeated rewrites into a broader narrative.
Since her 2021 debut, Yours, Georgina has earned support across triple j, Unearthed and ABC Country, alongside live appearances with Benjamin Stewart and The Maes.
