The Temper Trap Release New Single “Slide”

22 October 2026

The Temper Trap have released “Slide”, a new single written during the sessions for their fourth album, Sungazer. Out now through Mushroom Music, the track pairs synthesisers, driving drums and soaring choruses with a reflection on silence and strain in a relationship.

The release follows the band’s Australian chart success with Sungazer, a sold-out national tour and North American dates supporting Muse. “Slide” gives fans another song from the sessions to explore as the band’s busy 2026 continues.

The band also recently returned to triple j’s Like A Version with a cover of Harry Styles’ “Sign Of The Times”.

Listen to “Slide” or watch the official visualiser.
