Soilwork have released “Night Whispers & Shining Lights” as their 30th anniversary celebrations continue. The Swedish melodic death metal band’s new single brings together heavy riffs, melodic hooks and expansive choruses.
Vocalist Björn “Speed” Strid says the song had been waiting in the vaults for a couple of years before its release to mark the anniversary and the band’s European tour with Amon Amarth and Orbit Culture.
Throughout 2026, Soilwork have revisited their catalogue through a monthly retrospective, sharing studio footage, rare material and stories from behind the scenes. The group formed as Inferior Breed in 1995 before adopting the Soilwork name in 1996.
