The Rubens have released their sixth studio album, Group Therapy, and are heading straight out on tour to celebrate.
In their release-day message, the band thanked the team behind the record, their families and the listeners who have supported them. Their invitation to fans is simple: turn it up.
Alongside the album, The Rubens are inviting listeners to share their own stories about music through Spill Your Guts. Inspired by their new song The Cannonball, the project welcomes memories of first gigs, songs connected to loved ones and tracks that helped people through difficult times.
Fans can call +61 483 986 639 to hear a message from the band and receive a text linking to a voice-note upload. Concertgoers can also leave a message using the phone at the tour merch stand.
Group Therapy is available in digital, CD, vinyl and cassette formats. The band is offering a free pop-up show to the neighbourhood with the most album orders. Entries close at 11:59pm AEDT on 22 October; terms and conditions apply.
