Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s historic farewell is heading home. The concert film and soundtrack Back to the Beginning will be released digitally and physically on 11 December 2026, according to Rolling Stone AU/NZ’s report on Mercury Studios’ announcement.
The release captures the farewell at Birmingham’s Villa Park on 5 July 2025, featuring Ozzy’s final performance and a reunion of Black Sabbath’s original lineup.
Fans can look forward to formats including 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, CD and vinyl. Physical film editions will also feature behind-the-scenes material and video tributes from Dolly Parton and AC/DC.
For those who missed the event, or want to revisit an emotional milestone in heavy metal, this is a chance to bring that farewell into their own collection.
