Hypersonic's 2026 Sydney and Melbourne festivals have been cancelled, organisers confirmed on 28 October.

The events were due at Melbourne Showgrounds on Friday 20 November and Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney on Saturday 21 November. Armin van Buuren, W&W, Showtek, CYRIL, Timmy Trumpet and Pendulum (DJ set) were among the announced acts.

Organisers say moving Melbourne to a Friday because of scheduling conflicts did not work for the all-day format, with consequences for both festivals. They apologised and said they could no longer deliver the events to the expected standard.
