Australian metal outfit Frankenbok have released their take on the Hoodoo Gurus classic “Like Wow – Wipeout!” ahead of Aus Music Month in November.
The track opens their latest album, The Arriba War Honkle, which reached No. 5 on the ARIA Australian Artist Chart, according to Maric Media.
For Azza Bok, the song traces back to childhood memories of a Walkman and a cassette of Mars Needs Guitars! The band have reshaped that early inspiration in their own heavy style while paying tribute to the Australian original.
