Bad Wolves have released a new version of “Jolene” featuring Dolly Parton through Better Noise Music, with proceeds supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

The recording brings Parton’s vocals into the band’s hard-rock interpretation of her classic song. Her longtime producer Kent Wells mixed the previously recorded vocal stems for the release.

The accompanying official music video features young musicians from Nashville’s School of Rock performing alongside Bad Wolves. The collaboration grew from a listening session at NOZ Studios, where the band and members of Parton’s team heard the finished track together.

Drummer John Boecklin described raising money for the charity as an honour and praised the experience of working with the Nashville students.

The Imagination Library provides free books to young children, helping families build a love of reading before school. The program began in Tennessee in 1995 and now operates in countries including Australia.
