St. Louis black metal duo STORMRULER have released a new single and video, “Chapter I. The Sword, The Scepter & The Seal”. It’s the latest preview of Morning Nautical Twilight, due 4 December 2026 via Distortion Music Group, powered by Reigning Phoenix Music.
The song opens up the album’s fantasy world through a story told to a young wanderer. It reaches back more than two millennia before the main narrative to trace the origins of the Imperial Scepter. Guitarist and vocalist Jason Asberry and drummer Jesse Schobel pair black metal’s bite with folk textures, soaring guitar leads and a driving rhythm.
