Beast in Black have released “Lost Children”, a sweeping power ballad from their forthcoming fourth studio album, Fear The Beast.
The song continues the band’s connection with the manga Berserk, drawing on its Lost Children chapter. Frontman Yannis Papadopoulos delivers the soaring lead vocal, while director Katri Ilona Koppanen returns for the cinematic music video.
Songwriter Anton Kabanen says the chapter has stayed with him for around 20 years. The song explores its emotional contradictions, including childhood vulnerability, suffering and the difficult space between compassion and forgiveness.
The release arrives ahead of the band’s headline tour, which begins in London on 26 October.
