CHINCHILLA has released her new single, Irrevocably Changed, today, 15 October 2026. Co-written with G Flip and Aidan Hogg in Los Angeles, the track features G Flip on drums and pairs electronic pop with an intimate exploration of heartbreak.
The song captures the disorienting experience of feeling as though your own world has stopped while everyone around you continues with everyday life. It grew from a stripped-back piano and vocal session, with CHINCHILLA experimenting with distorted, heavily tuned vocals.
The release arrives with an official music video filmed in London and directed by CHINCHILLA herself. Its dark, melancholic atmosphere places the singer’s tears against the celebrations continuing around her, echoing the emotional disconnect at the heart of the song.
Irrevocably Changed follows VIPER and DOG EAT DOG, offering another glimpse of the artist’s forthcoming album. It is her third release of 2026, continuing an independent chapter built around raw storytelling and a striking vocal identity.
