Picture this, you get the news that you’ll be shooting the Amy Shark gig in Geelong via the photo pit infront of the crowd, with the standard rules right?
You get all your camera gear ready for the photo pit setting which you’re well acquainted with, but when you get to the venue, there’s no photo pit as the venue is an all-seated venue. What’s more, security inform you that the closest you can stand to shoot from without obstructing anyones view, is that requiring a lense three-times the size of the one you have… what do you do?
These days, anyone can take a decent photo using their smartphone, adding effects and filters to enhance it, but not everyone can take an artistic photo with soul and beauty at it’s core… so again, what do you do? Here’s what Christopher Lowe did with what he had in his photography disposal!
